Daniel Carchidi is a Portsmouth, NH based stone artist.
Atelier Duprat is named in honor of Dan’s maternal grandfather, Marcel Duprat, a French-Canadian mill worker, wood worker, stone tinkerer and father of six. Several of Marcel’s tools are still in use to create and install the sculptures.
